On Day 3, we took advantage of the breakfast at the hotel and the kids went for another swim before we checked out.

Then we packed it up and headed towards Seattle.  Our friend, Kelly, texted me and said it was raining in Seattle.  It was nice and warm in Chelan, but not so into Seattle on the other side of the mountain range.

Not sure who painted these on the side of a cliff, but they were crazzzzzy!

This was a cold trip on the whole.  It was 90 degrees at home and in the low 70’s/upper 60’s most of the time on the trip.

On the way into the Seattle area the clouds/fog were very pretty going through the mountains.  We didn’t get much rain, but it was rather overcast.

We stopped at Snoqualamie Falls on the way, which was just a few miles off the interstate.  Very pretty!

Then, we headed to our friend’s house using the Google Maps directions.  They were wrong.  Of course.

Good thing we had our smart phones!  That worked!  We finally made it to their house and the kids reunited with their little friends.  We spent a great evening eating salmon, drinking wine by the fire and catching up.
