As we were getting ready to leave for home last Sunday, we heard the roar of a prop plane engine pushed to it’s limits. It appeared over the trees going straight up in the air, where it turned and appeared to fall and recover. He (I’m assuming testosterone drove the insanity) did this several times, stalling out his engine on the fall at least twice. 😯
Somehow HE survived. And Kailan was completely fascinated.
I think we’d be completely fascinated too!
Cheers
HA! I bet you’re right that it’s a HE!!!! Crazy…but very cool!
We would have stopped to watch, too. The news would have wanted a witness. 😉 Craziness.
Wow, what a thrill!
I remember watching the airshow in Chicago and holding my breath every time they did those insane dives!! Totally crazy…I’m sure it was a HE! But it made for great photos!!
Okay – I must confess that one of my pageant prizes (from way back in those days) was a ride with a DEAF pilot in a tiny 4-seater plane. We also did this… it was insanely fun. My mother still has not recovered from the shock of hearing my description of it or seeing the video. We also did pretzels and loop-de-loops. We banked into the smoking crater of Mt. St. Helens. All in all, it was the most adventure this chick had ever had!
wow, how scary! a boys dream to watch something like that for sure though!
That makes me nervous just hearing about it! But great shots – I can see why Kailin was fascinated!
What a great capture, Francesco would have gone gagga’s!
Wow! What captures! Testosterone indeed 🙂
Wow! That’s so cool to see that! Wonder if the pilot got in trouble?
Super cool. How great that you had your camera so handy….Or is that not surprising at all. 😉
Wowee!
I can’t imagine the type of thrill-seeking individual that was flying that plane! Yikes!
My dad and I were talking about this “skill” this week. He was telling me that that is part of passing your test. You cut the engine and start it back when the plane starts to plummet!!! I don’t need my pilots license thank GOD! There was a child psychiatrist in my home town when I was younger that treated really really messed up children, and to “relieve stress” he would do that… 😛
