Kailan’s t-ball camp last Saturday was a bit cold, wet and miserable. It rained the entire time and it was hovering around 50 degrees. At least Anya had a playdate during the same time, so she bipassed it all and I got to have a good excuse not to be there the whole time. The boys got a bit drenched though. As you can see it didn’t dampen his enthusiasm at all. 🙂
Another cute thing in the rain, were these baby bunnies that Brian found while doing some landscaping work. There were about seven of them huddled amongst the sedum. We’ll see if they are there tomorrow after being discovered. The kids were quite taken with them, but no holding or touching was allowed. I’m sure at least some will grow big and strong and eat our plants.

Hope everyone had a great weekend!
Baby bunnies! OMG how cute is that??????? All you find in our garden are brown snakes and lizards!!!!!!!!!
Looks like K gets into his T Ball! Good for him. Pity the dads who had to stand around in the rain haha. It’s like netball; a winter sport and they play rain or shine. Us poor mums and dads doing the timing, scoring and cheering get soaked too! 🙁
Do they ‘sliiiiiide’ in T ball, cos it looks like the ground would have been perfect for it!
Future flower eaters! You’re hilarious.
Those bunnies were precious! Though I’m sure they’ll be around to enjoy your bountiful garden this summer!
And those pictures of Kai crack me up… cuz my helmet looked that oversized on me when I played softball too! Adorable!
Look how cute he is in what seems like the biggest helmet ever.
We had baby bunnies once, our dog killed one. So sad. We had to chance it and move them cuz Killer would have gotten them all. They weren’t newborn so we hoped they would be ok.
Hi Stacy!! What fun T-ball is for your guy! He looks like he is having so much fun! I love his little face!
And precious bunnies… my goodness! What a treasure to find… I have never seen wild bunnies nestled like that in the wild… 🙂 Love the detail of that shot… great detail!
Have a beautiful day! Amy
I’m glad to see the rain didn’t dampen Kai’s spirits! (And also glad you got to skip out of there a little early!)
BUT OMG – BABY BUNNIES!! I know, I know – I used to curse the bunnies up one side of my yard and down the other when we lived off of a field in Chicago…but OMG. BABIES! Eeeee. So cute!
Oh my goodness, the bunnies!!! So totally adorable!!! Yes I realize that will be a total nuisance soon enough, but golly they are cute!!
I’m glad the rain didn’t bother Kai – but I’m not surprised, rain/heat/cold/ice never seems to phase kids the slightest bit!
future flower eaters of america … oh man, that had me laughing !
My kids would have flipped out over those bunnies. They are so cute, but yes as I can attest they will eat your flowers or herbs. Now that I have a garden they just aren’t quite as cute.
Oh Stacy! That bunny shot is so beautiful. I love all of the curled vines and leaves around it. What a precious shot. Kai looks so small with that big helmet. :0) And last Saturday was SO cold and wet. By the end of the day I just wanted to throw in sweats and cuddle up in bed!
Those bunnies are sooo cute! Well, maybe they would be cuter if they found something else to munch on in the future! 🙂
