“Mommy, Daddy…Santa came! He bring me Transformer ‘puter!”
Sorry, son…Target was all sold out of them when Santa went shopping, but he did find a big ‘ole t-rex that roars. It seemed to be a good second choice…he still liked it. Anya was fairly happy getting her Dora doll with a seahorse chariot.
We had a good Christmas Eve, as well. My mom’s side of the family came over, sans Great-grandma, who was sick. 🙁 We had a yummy dinner of goat cheese and cranberry stuffed pork loin, mashed potatoes and butternut squash, corn casserole and mixed veggies in a cream sauce. All low-fat, of course. It was a good time. 🙂
My mom, dad and sister stayed over that night and we had some good family time. The kids got some nice presents and mommy got some cute pictures.

Anya had a tough time, though. When Grandpa, Grandma and Aunt Stephy came to stay overnight on Christmas Eve, they brought this with them:
Poor, poor Jake. He has a busted toe, which no one knows how, and he can’t get along very well. Instead of leaving him in his kennel at the farm, alone to face the cold, they brought him with them. Anya was vexed…very, very vexed. She does not like dogs. At all. In fact, we are well accustomed to hearing hysterical screaming if they deign to sniff her body or breathe air too close to her. She is a little afraid of them. Of course, she didn’t want to be in the same room as poor Jake, even though poor Jake couldn’t hardly move off of his bed and only did so to eat, drink and pee. Not to socialize.
They left around noon on Christmas Day, taking the poor doggy home, and we were all loaded up with presents. Then it started to snow big soft snowflakes for hours. A perfect ending to a relaxing Christmas Day!
Beautiful photos–I really, really love the shot of Anya with her grandma. They look great together! Merry Christmas 🙂
Looks like fun! Adam got a large roaring t-rex, as well. He ran from it and said it was “scawwy” all day… I think he thought the scary part was fun, however. Boys!
Merry Christmas!
oooh, a nice white Christmas. We had no snow, but at least it didn’t rain!
Lovely photos. It looks like everyone had a nice time…except poor Jake.
You’d think Transformers were gold the way they package them, wouldn’t you?
Beautiful shots–precious memories 🙂
No snow this Christmas here in southern Indiana, in fact it was 50 degrees and sunny–which was great weather for filling bird feeders and taking pictures!
~~Happy Holidays 🙂
