Well, I haven’t done a meme that I’ve been tagged for in forever, so I thought I could manage this one. Jenn tagged me months ago for six little known facts about me. I did do this awhile back, so this one and this one has some bizarre stuff about me, in case you are interested.
As I am so far behind in getting to this, I thought I would show you six little things that you didn’t know I had. How is that for a twist on the theme?? I’m a rebel, what can I say? Now, without further ado…some of my favorite shoes!
This one is by Baci, which has seemed to have gone out of business. I once wore them to a business meeting and had just about every woman come up to me afterwards and compliment me on my shoes. I don’t think most CPA’s are allowed to dress like I do…my company is so nice!
Another pair of shoes (boots!) by Baci. Strips of leather, suede and jacquard fabric – just too much fun! If these boots are sitting in a pile at the door during a party, everyone knows they are mine. All mine, ladies…I know where you live and you can’t hide in these boots!
These shoes are the reason people usually think I’m taller than I really am. No, I’m not six feet tall, but it definitely makes it easier for my 6’3″ hubby to kiss me when I’m wearing them.
I wore these to the Sex and the City movie with my girlfriends. Casual but sassy, with a hint of spunk thrown in. And not at all comfortable. As I told the nieces…shoes don’t have to be comfortable if they are cute!
These just hurt. I only wear them if there is a bare minimum of walking required. What you can’t see is the plastic piece under the straps over the foot. Why do I do this to myself?? I think they are destined for the “give-away” pile. Some chick doesn’t need to walk anywhere needs to have a chance to wear these. Ah, the sacrifices I make for the good of society.
New shooz – Hello, my lovelies. Where have you been all my life, dearest?? Fun funky shoes for summer by Not Rated. Don’t you just see them frolicking through a garden??
I don’t know if it’s just me or not, but if you shop for shoes lately you will see a lot of 70’s inspired fashion. Mom, you didn’t need to get rid of those old shoes…they are back in style! I guess now that the shirtdress is back in business, you need the proper shoes to go with it.
Consider yourself tagged if you would like to do this meme. Let me know in the comments and I will come and read up on you!
Oh how embarrassing it would be to show my shows. At 6 foot 2 inches tall and a size 12 foot cute just isn’t in my wardrobe! Oh how I long to be a size 9 and wear cute shoes. Ok, now I’m going to cry in my coffee.

I LOVE your shoes! Especially the last pair
Of course, I don’t even OWN a pair of heels that weren’t an accessory to a bridesmaids dress, so I wouldn’t be able to wear any of them, but I love your style
OMG THOSE BOOTS!!! I am a boot girl and they are the bomb diggity – WOW I LOVE them!!! Great post!
1, 2, and 6 just scream “Stacy!” I love them. I could photograph the six pairs of flip-flops I own – not nearly as exciting!
LOVE those shoes! I wish I were stylish like you. lol
What a good sharer you are. I might have a go at that one [later] I don’t think I could actually walk in any of those – luckily I only have to stagger from the car every once in a while, but hey! isn’t that the American life style!
Cheers
Daaaang! You have some awesome shoes, girl! I have never been big into shoes, but I sure could get excited about ones like this! I wear the same ol’ fliflops day in and day out, and they do NOT compare!
I love your taste. And I love the way you did this meme – very clever. Those last pair of shoes just scream classy, cool.
envy. i’m in shoe envy….and photography envy..nice stylin shots.
I think ALL my heels hurt…I’ve been wanting to try the Cole Haan line with Nike Air technology in them…but NONE compare to your collection. Gorgeous!!!!!
I can’t believe those amazing look shoes! I would have commented on them too, but never worn them. I’ve long decided some shoes just look better on others.
Thanks everyone…yes, I love shoes LOL! I have a hard time walking in the grey ones, but the rest are a pretty decent height.
Those are some funky boots!! Wow, my pathetic shoe collection would be totally embarrassing to post!! I need to go shoe shopping
The first two are definatley you. I currently do not have that many shoes, I am in serious need of some shopping.
I covet your shoes. Really.
I love your taste in shoes! I always loved funky, different ones, back in the days when I was working & playing (lots of dancing!). I’m not so sure I’ll be wearing any for a while now (since breaking my ankle). Much more into comfort these days…
